  Dr. Nihal conducted a Training Programme on 17 th  October for creating awareness about preventive measures for zoonotic disease in humans and animals through milk. During the program, the importance of clean milk production, steps to obtain clean milk, GMP, and demonstration of proper milking methods were discussed. After the session, informative videos were also shown and explained to farmers. There were 27  Dairy farmers who participated in the program.

 World Women Farmers’ Day ( जागतिक  महिला किसान दिवस)  was celebrated on 15 th  October under the Department of Home Science, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sagroli, Nanded-II. Women farmers’ success stories (Mahila Kisan Goshti) were narrated by the 41 women farmer participants in a program held at village Pokharni Tq. Biloli in coordination with ATMA (Agriculture Department) Biloli. They were acknowledged with the detailed information over the village level Small-Scale enterprises by Ms. Madhuri Revanwar, Home-Scientist, KVK, Sagroli. On the occasion, five progressive farm women were felicitated by KVK and ATMA.  In this program, information on fruit cultivation for processing was given by Dr. Santosh Chavan (Horticulturist).     An online training program on drudgery reduction technologies was conducted for 65  farm women of Nanded and Hingoli District in the afternoon session.
